Experience Southern Pit-Style BBQ Out West Visit your favorite barbecue restaurant or schedule catering services in Estes Park, Lyons, Longmont, Denver or Centennial, CO If you're on the hunt for award-winning barbecue, feast your eyes on Smokin' Daves BB
I'm not keen on going to any Smokin Daves, and yet, I did come. Probably the last time. For $10 I got a spinach dip with a delicious piece of black ( chest ? ) hair. Could've been from the head. And we even parted on normal terms. My spinach dip was prepared again. My bill was full, no mercy on that, usually customers get discounts after a situation like this / I would know, I used to give discounts because I was a waiter once. But no. No hard feelings tho. Probably won't go to another Smokin Daves again.

Holy moly the food was cooked to perfection. It was a quiet night and could have used some music but the food totally made up for it. Canât wait to go back and try another entree!

Oskar Blues is a force in brewing, and it is a pleasure to be able to visit their hometown of Lyons, CO. The Grill and Brew has 40 beers on tap, with OB flavors you cannot find in stores. There are some outside beers, but they are mostly part of the CANarchy collective, so still high quality brews. The special burger of the day was a mac and cheese burger... it was cooked perfectly and the bun, toppings etc all worked together. $15 but included a side (no upcharge for the sweet potato fries, yeah). It was relaxing, and I am sure the drivers lined up on the street heading up US36 were jealous they weren't enjoying a brew and burger, too.

The cafe is housed in an old home and is so cozy and exudes warmth. You're generally greeted by a friendly server or hostess and sometimes are offered the option of sitting outside on their deck-nice except some traffic noise as motorcycles and trains come rumbling through. Service is efficient and friendly. Menu has something for everyone-breakfast or lunch. Biscuits and gravy a good choice. The breakfast bowl is hearty enough for two-it has a tortilla layered with freshly grilled potatoes, covered with various grilled vegs including peppers, mushrooms, squash, and spinach.Their excellent green pork chili is ladled over that (you substitute sausage gravy or red chili), some cheese sprinkled on, and it's all topped with 2 eggs cooked to your wish. All the menu items look great ranging from something as simple as oatmeal to breakfast burritos and tamales, french toast, and you name it. I'd choose this place any day over a fancy upscale place.
