Their website says: âServing cowpokes, city folk, hikers, bikers, drifters, ân debutantes since 1947â. And indeed, it is full of stories. Very rustic funky quirky place, uneven, dusty, and full of cobwebs and character (place and people). Walls filled with grimy bear rugs, animal heads, antlers, old tools, rifles, etc. Typical small-town old west-style saloon. All that was missing was a bunch of windblown motorcyclists and the place would feel complete. They showed up just as we were leaving.Went there on a breezy cold day and were happy to be able to sit right in front of the fireplace for lunch â the only highlight of this visit. Had the Green Chili Stew and it was a brown gelatinous mess with a few chunks of meat and vegetables. Felt like warm Jell-O, bleh⦠(but it did warm me up). My friend had the chicken burrito and all there was in the burrito was solid chicken â thatâs all! Overall, blandish, uninspired, generic, non-descript food.Super slow lackluster service even though the place only had two other tables filled with a few customers. Had to repeatedly flag down waitress to get anything done.Menu on their website is not what you get at the restaurant â needs serious updating.Lack of competition makes it that this place doesnât have to try hard to get customers, and they donât. They get by with a minimum of work, style, and taste.Instead of fixing a bathroom door that would not lock, they just had a sign saying knock before you come in. Heard quite a few yelps during lunch as people were surprised by others wanting to use the restroom⦠At one point, the bartender had an argument with one of the waitresses and it started getting quite ugly until they moved out of earshot. Not professional at all and made me feel uneasy about being there.I will wait to be in a bigger town for better food next time.

Regretfully I forgot to take pictures of my fruit pie (apple, rhubarb, raspberry) which was made by the Chef. The crust was airy, light, flaky and thin. Served warm with whip cream, I scraped the plate. My friends were both happy about their Posole stew.Stage Top serves great food and their lady staff is strikingly charming and smelled good. They have garden seating under trees shades. The restroom is nice.

After looking for the Bow Tie restaurant advertised in rooms at the Isleta resort, we were told it had been closed for some time, and the Tiwa was the only option. We went to the Tiwa, and were told that the wait staff was too busy and couldn't serve us, come back later. Tables were open. Pitiful. If management can't provide sufficient staff to serve customers, new management is needed. Eventually we were seated and served. Bianca, our waitress, was eager to please, and did a great job. Food was OK. Won't be back.

We had dinner here. Husband had the beef burrito and I had the bacon guacamole burger. Everything was perfect and delicious. Service was quick.
