Things to do in Greymouth
I suppose everybody has tried a Subway at some stage - so there is really very little to say. Food is typical Subway fare, clean as you would expect, coffee on tap as well as packaged drinks - Adjacent to the Greymouth Railway station, next door to The Warehouse and Countdown, but a little away from the centre of town.
Friendly staff. Good food and really good prices. Really like the chocolate lava cake. You must try this.
McDonalds standards should be uniform across the country - not here though !The kids were happy with the toys in their happy meals, ate chips, but took one smell of the nuggets and despatched them to the floor. I got a coffee (but not in a mug as I had asked) and a burger which was pretty plain.Only saving grace is a play area for the littlies, which they never seem to get tired of !
Stopped @KFC for a quick lunch. Stood waiting for ten minutes whilst Kyle behind the counter ignored us. Then he served the person who arrived well after us. No explanation, no apology just rude bad service. Either weâve developed the ability to make ourselves invisible or they they just donât like tourists. We left and went to McDonaldâs instead which was fab!
