Find out what American restaurants to try in Gdansk. One of Poland’s most beautiful cities, Gdansk, on the Baltic Sea, has played major roles in history, especially in the 20th-century. It was the 1939 flash point of World War II, and then in 1980, the birthplace of the Solidarnosc labor movement, ushering the end of Communist domination in Eastern Europe. Gdansk’s Old Town, painstakingly reconstructed to its Hanseatic League glory after being leveled in World War II, is a highlight. The 14th-century Town Hall houses the city’s historical museum.

First restaurant in the Tricity to serve meat cooked low & slow in a wood fired BBQ smoker. Wonderful beef, ribs and pulled pork with side of mac & cheese, baked beans and pickles along with variety of bourbons make this place a real treat for every meat
Had the pleasure to visit this place on my short visit to GdaÅsk. Donât be discouraged by the location, it is definitely worth the trip. Delicious meats, prepared carefully by the true enthusiasts. Best meal (I had) in town! Couldnât wait to try it so much, that I forgot to take pictures of the main dish...

We really enjoyed our lunch here, it really caters for families and kids which isn't always the case with restuarants in Gdansk. Kids menu is extensive and the food is really good quality. My husband had a burger and he said it was one of the best he's had! I had the shrimp starter and a side order of fries, the shrimp was delicious, big fat shrimps and great flavour. My daughters pancakes came with nutella and jam so she was delighted with life! My son had the chicken goujons from the kids menu and they tasted amazing, really high quality. We were only sorry we didn't find it until our last day as we would have gladly come back. Service was really good, they gave the kids colouring pencils and crayons and a little tub of popcorn. Would highly recommend, especially if you are travelling with children.Thank you so much for such compliments. It is a pity that you came to us only on the last day of your stay in Gdansk. We hope that during your next visit to our city you will direct your first steps to Billyâs.Greetings and see you soonMarcin KrawczykBilly's American restaurants sp.z o.o
