If you are on a schedule skip it! We were to early for the buffet on Friday night, so we ordered from the menu. I ordered a grilled chicken salad and my husband ordered the seafood platter. They served my salad ten minutes before any of his dinner was served. When the seafood was finally served the crabcake was still cold inside!! Hush puppies were extremely greasy. On the positive side our server was extremely nice.

Ordered using the app. Ordered 2 six inch subs. They had them ready when we got there. The app is very nice to use as you can also go ahead and pay for your order. This location was clean as well. Staff isn't usually very friendly I might add though.

The Back Forty is located just off I-20 at Lake and features a seafood buffet on Friday and Saturday nights with a large variety available. The fried catfish and homemade hush puppies are delicious. There are 3 versions of shrimp--fried, boiled, and stuffed. The coleslaw is made fresh daily on site and is delicious. Menu items are available also.The Sunday lunch buffet is out of this world good with a large variety of meat entrees as well as vegetables, casseroles, salads and home made pies. This buffet is not to be missed.The employees are all family or have family ties and are very friendly/ helpful. Would definitely recommend visiting this restaurant.
