Iâve had lamb tagine more times than I can count over the last month in Morocco. This was one of the worst. Which is to say itâs been great everywhere else (including for a fraction of what I just paid in medina stalls). So it was edible despite how tough the meat was, and the service was quite good. For one of the top restaurants in Tangier I expected better.

Spent a walking day in Tangier and were lucky enough to be guided to this location for a delicious meal. This organization supports women as they develop marketable skills ... the beautifully prepared tagine and other dishes were well worth the visit. I would go back if I had the chance!

A place for tourists, but very nice, cool and fun! The was live music, and at the end one of the waiters started to dance with all the ladies in the restaurant.... super fun! Food was excellent, I ate the best pastella I had in five days in Morocco: We also tried the Harira soup, very rich and tasteful, the one they eat after Ramadan; and the Baisara or pea soup. Also Oranges and Mint teas. Lots of fun and good food.

The restaurant venue is adorable, a small place that fits three tables and decorated to feel like someone's home. The propiater is very jolly and makes a mean tagine. The menu is not extensive, but the meals we had were cooked perfectly and had a hearty home cooked quality. The value was astounding, with our meal for two (plus big bottle of water) costing just 67dirhams.
