We took our friends to Allesverloren as they had not been there before. They loved it. It is pleasing to record that the ladies conducting the tasting are still delightful : friendly and informative. The wines tasted were very good.

Due to load shedding, on arrival we were in darkness. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and when the power eventually came on at 20h10, we could finally see the place. It is well decorated and the history is fascinating.I have the Beef Trinchado, and it was a bit too garlicky for me, so much so that I battled to eat it. Everyone else's meals seamed OK, and friends had the lamb, which they loved.Glad we went to experience the place.

At The Valley Kitchen you will find a great hearty meal for very reasonable prices. Had Sunday lunch there and the Pork Belly was absolutely delicious as was the Chicken livers.!!! Lovely relaxed atmosphere with a place for kids to play and also quiet area if you want to relax under the air con on a hot day. There is outside seating as well as indoors. Nice cold beers and great food what more can one ask for?
