If you speak English and struggle with Italian the host is excellent communicating and adding value to the dining experience with great service.We were given a tapa type dinner with a variety of italian dishes using local produce. The meal was not expensive yet was delicious (delizioso). We were treated by royalty.Highly recommend.

In the beautiful Tuscan seaside town of Porto Ercole, Le plaisir du vin is a must for any seafood lover. The best quality products of the Mediterraneo and the great knowledge and expertise of chef Stefano allows this little bistro to master the Italian specialty of "crudi" raw seafood. Just try as much you can spend. Crudi doesn't come cheap, you get what you pay for. The variety and freshness of fish and crostacei are outstanding. Wine and drinks too. Not to mention the location and the views.

Lovely service with cafe owner explaining the menu as our Italian is limited. We had a trainee waiter who with guidance will get better but the food was lovely. Had the chicken with rice plus Salmon, olive and advocado salad. Nicely presented and freshly prepared and cooked. The cafe has a lovely ambience and has disabled access toilets and is child friendly.
