Serving very nice seafood with Asian flavour. Have a nice lake view when sitting outside the balcony. Very friendly and helpful waitress. Ordered the caries calamari, northwest oyster is blowing my mind! The crab cake , the jumbo shrimp , fried spring roll and jumbo seared scallops were beating my expectation. The stewed seafood with clams, fish and mussel was nicely prepared with reasonable spiciness! The other good to share was the wine list is extensive with good varieties of wine especially the Oregan wines that is good and reasonable price. worth a visit...

Locally sourced and seasonally inspired cuisine served in an upscale and upbeat environment.
This was my first visit to Tavern on Kruse and it was an enjoyable one! First of all, there are not many tables on the non-bar side of the restaurant so I do suggest you make reservations. We had a party of 3 for lunch and I am glad that I reserved a table for us. The atmosphere and decor are both welcoming and modern. I thought the curtain separating the dining room was a nice touch. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable and did not rush us, which I appreciated since we were celebrating a birthday. She made some great suggestions when we could not decide on which seasonal cocktail to have and what to have for lunch. My duck confit and arugula salad had fabulous flavor thanks to the tang of the lemon dill chevre and malt & apple vinaigrette which played well with the bitterness of the arugula. Our table shared a side of fried brussels sprouts and that was heavenly with the green goddess sauce! I will return soon to try the Happy Hour and dinner menus!

Small family owned wine bar in the heart of the Westlake Neighborhood in Lake Oswego. We host weekly themed wine tastings along with seasonal menu changes using fresh, local ingredients.
We had a lovely lunch here on the paver patio in front of Olive and Grape. It's a peaceful outdoor area, partially shaded that creates a pleasant ambiance. The inside of the restaurant was small with limited seating so the patio adds a lot.I can't speak to the dinner meal since we came for lunch where the food was tasty though a bit spotty. I had a meatloaf sandwich which was elevated above the usual by a wonderful tomato bacon jam and grilled bread. My companions Nicoise salad was just so so. There was plenty of tuna and a nice mix of greens but no olives or green beans which are normally part of the offering. Both dishes were tasty and the service was friendly. This was good food and freshly made in a pleasant setting. There seems to be lots of potential and it's worth a visit.
