So it was more like really really good but pre-prepared dishes,Surprised when we visited it was predominantly tourists inside as it is not In an overly touristy area. But it sure is on TripAdviserAnd the owner and chef are doing very good business. We were there on a Sunday night, when fewer Parisian restaurants Are open. So likely that was a factor.Hello and thank for you review. Nothing itâs pre-prepared, « La Min » because itâs make at minute ^^. Sunday itâs one of the best day, a lot of people in a small place. (Tourist or french) and We try to make the the best for all people!Sincerely Mr Haddad Nathan

I had walked by this restaurant several times on my way to the subway and was deceived because it's not large or ostentatious. On my last night in Paris I finally stopped and had the best meal of my entire visit. There was a mixup in my order, because when the waiter recited the specials he mistakenly thought I ordered the veal, when I wanted the duck. They did graciously replace the veal with the duck and it was superb, perfectly cooked on a bed of carrot puree. I recommend making a reservation or you may have to sit outside as I did, and smoking is still allowed in the cafes of France, which can be annoying.

I was able to pay a visit to Le Baron Rouge last week. It was a bit further away from any other places I had been to. Perhaps that is part of the draw because there really were not many tourists around except for yours truly.I got there just after they opened at 5 pm. I sat at a small table and looked over the wine menus on the wall. Having settled on a red I was good to go and placed my drink order with the bartender. He spoke English and was friendly.Everyone else that made their way in seemed to be locals coming to talk story over a glass of wine and for some small glasses of beer. It was very laid back and relaxed. I did not see anyone order any food nor was anyone present with oysters. I suppose that I struck out there as I was looking forward to some.I enjoyed 3 glasses of wine and then ventured on. The wines to be found here are pretty extensive. A cozy little bar to enjoy some lovely drinks without feeling that you are in a tourist trap. If that's your type of thing then you would enjoy this place.
