Loved Renoufs. We had a platter between the 2 of us and a couple of wine flights. Loved the foo, everything on the platter had been put together thoughtfully, as an example the humus was particularly tasty and all the ingredients were very high quality. Enjoyed the wine flights.

After wandering around Bournemouth for the day, we were desperate to find a restaurant that was actually quiet inside and had table service rather than only offering food ordered at the bar. Cliff Top hit the spot. The service was slow but the atmosphere was very comfortable and pleasant; zero complaints. Outdoor seating without smoking was splendid (and hard to find). We ordered fish and chips- the fish was spectacular, the chips were frozen from a bag. The bar across the corner has karaoke at night which you can hear just enough for a laugh and entertainment. I'm struggling to understand the justification for only 3*, as you mention the frozen fries and the slow service, but everything else hit the spot perfectly.We will be changing our fries with our Cod soon, once we have another chef on board to help our head chef with the work load they'll go back to making the chips themselves.I'm so thrilled to read to see you thought our fish was spectacular, we think so too. We have been multiple times, but the latest visit was actually one of the best.Great food, lovely wine with brilliant service. Special mention to Corey who has an incredible knowledge of the wines and gave us some great recommendations.5*
