This is an unpretentious restaurant in a commercial strip that boasts a lot of small ethnic restaurants. My sister and I both had a very good spring roll. She ordered wonton soup and was expecting a small bowl of soup like you'd get for an appetizer in a Chinese restaurant. The bowl was huge, and the soup was good, as was the beef pho which the rest of us had. My husband also ordered a spicy beef over rice which was too much to eat along with his big bowl of soup. The food was good, and next time we'll know that the portions are very large.

This is an intimate, little Thai restaurant with really great food and service. I took friends of mine who live in Kailua Town here for dinner one evening. We started out with spring rolls (really delicious), and ordered a variety of entrees to share. All was very nicely prepared, and delicious. I would most definitely recommend this restaurant for Thai.

I wanted something quick and good, and as I was driving around Kailua, I spotted Ba-Le. Parking can be a little dicey, so I parked over in the shopping center lot and walked over. Yes, it was still raining, but I was wet already and didn't care.Friendly greeting when I walked in. I ordered a chicken sandwich and a Pass-O-Guava. I ate out in front. The chicken was tender and flavorful, and I love the toasted roll. The prices are low which is great! I would definitely come back and recommend others to come here. I would like to try some of the other items on the menu.Mahalo!
