Food is amazing, people are fantastic, process are reasonable and the atmosphere is great. You feel welcome as soon as you come, you have the element of theatre cooking which I really like, (1) because who doesn't like watching someone sweating over a hot grill and (2) you can see everything is booked fresh. Went for my birthday meal and would recommend you all do the same - for every birthday!!!

Booked as was saturday, was fairly busy.Quickly shown to our table, drinks orders taken whilst we browsed menu. We know portions are not small so decided on starter and mains, Garlic prawns (delicious), Mixed shish, tagine were both excellent as always.We shared baklava to die for.Service greatThis is probably the best restaurant in barnsley

My first time here with my friends. The atmosphere was a bit flat but there wasnât many people in the restaurant. I ordered rump steak and asked for it to be cooked medium unfortunately it came well done and very tough but when I complained they were very obliging and cooked another one which was a lot better. My friends had chicken shish kebab, one with rice and one with chips and they enjoyed theirs. The chicken was tender and my friend really enjoyed the rice. They did overcharge us on our bill but it was soon sorted. The staff were lovely and very obliging.
