Have been meaning to visit this little restaurant for some time so when we arrived today we were fortunate to find it was not too busy as on previous occasions we had been very full. However, today proved that 13 is not only my partner's lucky number it was doubly so today. The menu is not overloaded and although on first glance the prices seem high this is easily compensated by the fantastic quality of the food and the equally excellent service. This is definitely a place to go for a Thai meal which for me was probably the best Thai food I have had for many years as it was for my partner who is not the easiest to please when it comes to the quality of food. Yet she devoured everything in front of her despite her being a bit down with a cold. Will we be going back? YES!

Tasty, but not the best I've ever had. Massaman curry, satay, and sweetcorn cakes all delicious but beef in garlic chewy, plus charges not clear; wiggled out of an offer because set menu already discounted, apparently. Not good business for first time customers. Plenty of other places to try.

Exploring the menu at The Chef Thai Cuisine is like taking your tastebuds on holiday. We use organic Thai herbs and locally sourced produce to create beautifully fresh and authentic Thai cuisine based on ancient recipes. With our famous Thai hospitality,
Following a previous enjoyable organised visit with a group of friends, my wife and I were sufficiently impressed to experience this great little restaurant again. The staff were most welcoming and the interior is clean, cosy and welcoming. We were joined by my wife's brother and ordered a set meal. This included an excellent selection of starters comprising prawn toast, satay sticks, spring rolls and prawn dumplings. This was followed by an interesting spicy and sour clear soup with prawns. Main courses followed and comprised massaman curry, stir fried chicken, crispy prawn with chilli, vegetables, noodles and rice dishes. The dishes were all tasty, well cooked and nicely served. We followed the main course with coffees. A most pleasant dining experience to be recommended.
