Find out what Thai restaurants to try in Singaraja. Singaraja is a port town in northern Bali, Indonesia, which serves as the seat of Buleleng Regency. The name is Indonesian for "Lion King" (from Sanskrit singha and raja). It is just east of Lovina, with an area of 27.98 km² and population of 80,500, the second largest on the island.

A really overly sweet papaya salad, vegetable curry with more tofu than vegetables and again too sweet even at asking for it not to be too sweet, plus the banoffee seems to be totally different and much smaller than it used to be too. This used to be one of my favourite places to eat in Bali and sadly it's lost that now. I came here over a year ago with friends who all agreed that the food was way too sweet...Hopefully there is an owner or manager reading this.
Casual cafe, with Industrial chic style interior and building, right in the centre of Singaraja. Specilized in Thai Cuisine, Indonesian and Western. Great place for coffee lovers. Great hangout place. free wifi
Had lunch with a friend here recently. It is well located with good parking available and the option for eating inside or in a sunny courtyard. The decor is quirky and the restroom gets a 10/10 which is always a plus in Bali. The menu offers a variety of staples and some Asian classics. Everything we had was tasty and well presented. I tried the Soto Ayam and it was perfect, served with melinjo, a spicy sambal, lime and rice on the side so I could make it just the way I wanted it. The sambal was fantastic and obviously home made rather than store bought (which is sadly increasingly common in Bali). The slightly bitter melinjo crackers were a great alternative to the shrimp crackers that tend to be the standard offering in most places. My friend had the Vietnamese rice paper rolls (a generous serving) and quite delicious. She also tried the pad Thai which was excellent. The staff were very friendly and service was slick. Iâd certainly recommend Soan if you find yourself in Singaraja.
We serve some of the international food, and we use authentic traditional spices with the most fresh ingredient, that we take from the local fisherman and farmer.
Me and my partner are big foodies and we have tried a lot of different places in Bali but this was by far the best! The place is a little hard to find it you don't know what you're looking for but there is a sign at the costal highway in Les. You can dine with a great sea view and very nice music. The food was cooked freshly in front of us and the chillies were picked off the bushes right in front of our eyes. Very polite staff and a great menu that offers the best mix of Indonesian and International food. We had such a great experience and would go back any time! The place can also be reached by boat and offers a tree house like sleeping arrangement open for bookings too. Everything is very clean and was done professionally. Don't miss this when you go to Bali!
