Stopped at House of Yum for lunch during a day out in Shrewsbury and we were not disappointed. The food was delicious, and though I don't recall her name, I'd like to say a special thank you to the lady who served us - taking the time to explain menus really made us feel welcome. We will definitely be back again.

Our most recent visit was a Friday night, it was quiet and we were surprised. We love the food here, especially the fish. The service is wonderful too. Don't be put off by the decor, do visit and enjoy the delicious Thai cuisine!

The entrance to this restaurants is up several flights of steps with a threadbare carpet and very unwelcoming. Once reaching the restaurant the carpet is so sticky underfoot that it brings down the whole ambiance and makes one feel the restaurant is unclean. However, service was very friendly. The four of us opted for the set menu. The food was all extremely tasty and plenty of it albeit on the expensive side. The owners of this establishment really have to plough some money into new carpets to give this restaurant a cleaner fresher feel.
