I hosted a small business lunch at Spicey Thai last week. The food was good. The service was fine. The menu offered a good selection. I thought the menu prices were high for lunch. There was a daily lunch special but if you don't that entre for the day you choose, you're stuck with ordering from the general menu. Please understand there was nothing wrong with our food, service, or ambiance. For a strip mall location with bland decor and seating, I found the pricing to be what I might expect from a much more elegant and comfortable environment.Average. That's it.

Never sure how authentic the food will be in a Thai restaurant in a college town. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food. I was with my two adult children and the three of us each ordered something different: Red curry, Masaman curry, and Pad Thai. The curries were quite good, though the spice level was toned down. I didn't have any of the Pad Thai, but it looked like Pad Thai should look. Lunch specials are reasonably priced.

An unassuming and simple looking place, Silver Dish Thai Cuisine will surprise you in a most delicious manner. We ordered the Mango Salad and Chicken Tom Yum soup. The Salad was beautifully shredded, and topped with prawns, cilantro and cashews, in a mouth watering tangy dressing. The large bowl of soup was perfect to lift our spirits and warm us, while tasting the bits and pieces of chicken, mushroom and vegetables. We saw next door couples happily enjoying their Pad Thai, which also looked simply magnificent.
