Just as the name suggest. Grand place. Lovely ambiance. We took recommendations of Dias who served us beautifully throughout the dinner.Tried the Mix Platter, Grilled Tiger Prawns, Chicken Curry, Fish and Beef which were absolutely yummy. Loved everything about the place.Would definitely suggest everyone staying at the Grand Hotel to dine here!!

This place used to be a great place back in the day and now, it has ruined it's reputation. I went their for lunch buffets several times recently, just because they had clean toilets. The food is mediocre. Very poor in food quality. All the food are dry and most probably a day or two old. Taste is a humiliation to Sri Lankan cuisine. Every is seriously over priced compared to other similar places in the area. If they provide good service, it is ok for them to charge more, but this poor service cannot charge high prices with a sane mind.I am just begging them to increase their food and service quality to previous levels. Please train your chef to "cook", and staff to "serve customers" properly. The you can charge as much as you want.

Ratnapura is a famous city for gems and rich foods, At real restaurant we can have any dish we like, Thai menu, Sri lankan rice and curries, beverages, desserts. The friendly staff is really entertaining !
