My wife and I were really impressed with our first visit to Thai Woodhouse. The restaurant is clean and comfortable, our server was friendly and helpful in explaining the menu options, and the two dishes we had (ginger chicken stir fry and panang curry chicken) were delicious. We also had an order of 'fresh rolls' which were indeed fresh and tasty and served with a spot on peanut sauce. We've eaten at many Thai restaurants and suffered through various versions of this, from watery to glue-like. The Woodhouse version was perfect, with just a bit of heat to accent the flavor. The menu offers a lot of choices; you'll find various stir fry options, rice and noodle dishes, curries, and even pho. With all of these dishes you pick the meat, choice of five vegetables (out of ten offered), type of noodle and rice, and heat level 1 through 5. Our server did a great job of explaining the process and it really is a nice concept to customize the ingredients to your liking. We're not locals but I really hope people in the area embrace this restaurant because it deserves to succeed. We were there on a Friday for lunch a bit before noon and saw only two other couples. As we were walking out I noticed a barely mediocre chain restaurant across the street with a full parking lot.....go figure.

Clean, tastefully decorated, with great service. I had Tom kah Gai, coconut soup with chicken and mushrooms, and Rad Nar with chicken, flat noodles in brown sauce with chicken and vegetables. Great food at reasonable prices. Iâll go back again.

This was our first visit and we were surprised at how nicely decorated the restaurant was - and the fast, pleasant service. We ordered from the Lunch Special menu - Having #7 (Pork With Chinese Veggies, and #18 (Shrimp with Chinese Vegetables. . each for $7.25 which included a choice of soup (we both had Wonton) and a scoop of Fried Rice. Everything was very tasty - but my fried rice had a ton of sauce on it. Next time I'll ask for the sauce to be served separately. However, there was so much food that we both asked for take-out boxes and I asked that the sauce be left out of mine - and the server did so. They have a huge assortment of various dishes and we'll go back for the Dinner Combinations - all reasonably priced. There's also an attractive Sushi Bar. Parking is right outside the restaurant in a sad looking shopping strip.
