Visited here last night. Our server was welcoming and accommodating as one of our party had a food allergy. She checked with the chef and as promised kept any unsuitable sauces/dishes separate. Be warned the portions are extremely generous therefore you donât need to order quite so many dishes. Each would feed 3-4 people. The green jungle curry and Red Devil curry were both delicious and served with rice. There were lots of vegetables within both dishes such as broccoli, zucchini, carrots so I donât feel you need to order a veg dish. The sharing sample platter and pad Thai both tasty. All in all the service , food , value for money was first class. Definitely worth a try.

Restaurant in walking distance of where we were staying. Dog friendly if you sit on porch. Extensive menu. Loved the Tom Yum soup and had the Royal salad first time we were there. Curry dishes are very good and had a rice entree that had chicken and pineapple. Brown rice available as well. And be sure to save room for the Mango sticky rice dessert. Waitresses very friendly. Reasonably priced

Waitâ¦..waitâ¦â¦waitâ¦â¦waitâ¦â¦food glorious food! Yes, it did take a loooong time for our main dishes to come out from the kitchen. How long you ask? Well, we live about 5 minutes from the restaurant and after about 15 minutes from the time we finished our wonderful Tom Kha soup my wife went home to take care of the doggie and when she returned to the restaurant we were just getting our entree. Our server (who could not have been nicer) explained that there is only one chef (the owner) and he prepares each dish as it is ordered (cutting vegetables, the chicken and so on.â¦) and the place was full when we were seated (we got the last table). The soup was wonderful with the broth having a very slight sweetness, shrimp was plump and the vegetables were crisp and full of flavor. We shared an order of Kang Musaman, chicken breast with onion and potato over red curry with rice. The spice of the dish was spot on and each item stood out with freshness. This was our first time at Laguna Thai but even with the long wait it will not be our last. The place is small, and we were able to sit outside in a small patio area, very nice on a nice evening. Parking on PCH is dicey at best and they have a small lot next to the restaurant (on the North side). Enter at the 3rd ave sign and drive down the ramp. SO go to this little place and bring a book or kindle to read or have a nice conversation while waiting for some of the best Thai food you will get in the Laguna, Dana Point area.
