First time visiting the west Dover Chaiyo. Clean restaurant, attentive servers, great food. We split an order of spiced mussels-I love mussels and just about elbowed the hubby so I could eat the majority! Not splitting next time. We both got pad thai-me:chicken, him:beef. Both really good and enough for take home. Have to go back and try more selections!

The service was good, but we were the only people in the place. Pretty dead for a Saturday afternoon. Food was pretty bland. No soup or salad offered with the basic meal. Not sure where the other reviews are coming from? We eat out in Dover every weekend, first time we stopped here in awhile, and it will be a lot longer before we return. If I am hungry for Asian Cuisine there are at many other places in Dover I would stop before coming back here.

My husband and I stopped by here while we were in Dover visiting family. From the outside, the restaurant looks quaint and homey. When we went in the carpets were stained and dirty looking and the decorations were covered in dust. There were no other guests in the restaurant and the two older ladies (owner and server) quickly seated us and took our order. We ordered iced water, unsweet tea, spring rolls, house salads, and the seafood tum yum soup. When we got our drinks, the water had a yellowish color and the tea was soured, we actually wound up ordering canned drinks; the spring rolls were burnt and very greasy. The salad was wilted and brown, and tasted like old onions. Although the soup had a decent flavor, the mushrooms were mushy and had dark spots throughout them, as if they were on the verge of molding. When we complained to the server, her response was, "She's the cook, I just work here." We will not be returning.
