Tianjin borders Hebei Province and Beijing Municipality, bounded to the east by the Bohai Gulf portion of the Yellow Sea. Staff were great! Very friendly, helpful! Very accommodating. The breakfast had a good variety for Chinese people. Would not say it was good for Western people. It had the basics like bacon and eggs etc. However the food was old and not fresh. The sandwich was so old the lettuce was almost paper. (No moisture left) The bacon was like rubber. Not warm, not even room temperature. Anything western that was not cooked in front of you was pretty bad in terms of quality. The food needs to stay hot. Obviously the heat lamps were ineffective and they should be turned up or replaced. Also they need more quality control on some of the dishes they leave out. The sandwiches and other stuff should be replaced or thrown out more often because this is how people get sick, old food left out for a long time. And this is the Ritz, so a higher standard should be expected, since this is one of the best hotels in Tianjin. Dear PresPJ,Warm Greetings from the Ritz-Carlton, Tianjin!
