While working with clients in South El Monte, I was told that a great Japanese local spot was the tiny shop tucked behind a 7-11. While i was told that the Sushi and Maki Rolls were the draw, I opted for the Bento Box. I was rewarded with Miso soup, crisp Tempura, an excellent slaw, rice, chicken Teriyaki and a flavorful California-style roll--all for $8.95. The friendly waitress made tha meal as close as possible to "restaurant" style as possible even refilling my fountain drink. I can understand why I had to wait to get in.

Very Disrespectful Service!!I am Chinese and being discriminated by the Chinese chief who does raw noddle cooking. He yelled at me for not handling him the plate for him to cook! There is no sign or rule that I have to physically submit the plate for him to cook. He also yelled at my kids for the same issue. The gentleman after me is not Chinese, but he said nothing to him.....The waitress did not come to clean the table as often as others. I mean.....I basically have to take the plates away myself. The food is ok but a bit unorganized........well I never have much expectation for this type buffet.....but the is beyond reasonable...................

Excellent place to have a feast. They had every kind of way to prepare seafood in this seafood palace. Service is slow as expected when they're busy. Little pricey, but well worth it given the options. Will definitely head back soon.
