The atmosphere is a cut above for the neighborhood; a place you might actually sit at the bar and have a cocktail. Big saltwater fish tank and expansive interior. The sushi is fresh, tasty and in tastefully polite portions. It takes a long time to get to the table; sip your miso. Chinese dishes come out with a fillip of decoration, in a pineapple shell or nicely garnished. The hostess is friendly.

Food: AverageService: GoodDécor: GoodValue: PoorClosest place to the Paramount Theater so it is tempting to come here but the prices for the quality of food and drink are essentially highway robbery. $38 for a $25 bottle of wine, $13 for a Johnny Black single, $29 for $22 Jambalaya. In addition, side dishes are extraFood is OK, but the smell from the sushi bar (something was waaaay past it's prime in there) was sickening. Good service and nice room, thoughThere are many better places within a short walk. Your money is better spent thereForewarned is forearmed
