We had eaten here previously and felt it was acceptable, a few years ago. This time we ordered takeout, 3 rolls. The Tempura roll had tempura that wasn't freshly prepared in it. The Spicy Salmon skin roll was OK and the unagi roll was fine, nothing special; the prices seemed high for the quality. We come from the San Francisco Bay area where we get excellent, fresh sushi frequently (even served at our wedding), so expected this to continue to be high quality, but not to be. We gave this a rating of poor, because the quality was average but the price was not worth it.

Japengo is located just off of the lobby of the Hyatt Regency and above the swim up bar and waterfall. It is an open air restaurant with a laid back, relaxed atmosphere.We ordered the Seafood Udon, the Seafood Chow Fun, Kobacha and a Prawn and Mango Salad. All of our dishes were very good.We will return...

We randomly walked into this tiny place because we were craving sushi and had been walking around the open mall it's in. We were skeptical because we were the only ones there. What a hidden jewel!! My party of 4 had a plate with ahi tuna and yellowtail sashimi. It was so tender and delicious! Then we had 4 different rolls. We spent most of the meal eating and raving about how good it was! I wish there had been a bigger selection but everything we ordered was fantastic and I would be so happy to go there again. Highly recomment!Thank you very much.we would love to see you again soon
