I have been to Kyoto many times and have never been disappointed. The fish is always very fresh and delicious. The service is excellent and the sushi chef is always happy to serve and make suggestions. I go here when ever I can and will continue. Treat yourself and I am sure you will be very happy and will feel as I do. A wonderful spot.

I've only eaten here twice but was able to enjoy the patio both times. It can be a little loud with the trains going by, but just that's part of eating downtown. The sushi is great, very fresh. The bento box lunch special (served until 2:30 pm) has more than enough food, starting with a miso soup, and included a small salmon filet, 6 pc.nCalifornia roll, tempura vegetables and steamed rice. If you're looking for an inexpensive lunch, this is not it- at $13. But it's a nice place to enjoy a leisurely lunch in a beautiful atmosphere. I consider it a real treat. The service is very good, too.

The quality is hit or miss here. They have all you can eat for $20, unlimited, any roll, any sushi, sashimi, nigiri, and a dozen types of appetizers. There are a few things I really like here. They make a Mexican roll with ponzu cilantro and jalapeno. It's very tasty. I also like the coconut shrimp app with the tropical coconut sauce. Make sure you eat everything you order. Because they will charge you extra for over ordering what you can not eat. Best tip I can offer: order small and add as you go. Also, share family style. The rolls take a long time, but apps come fast. So order a roll and apps to occupy you while you wait for the next roll.
