Green Shiso is a modern Japanese restaurant that offers a sushi train and a la carte menu dining experience. It focuses on bringing the freshness of Japanese cuisine into the local market by incorporating the characteristics of shiso and the beach.
This is quaint little Japanese in the heart of cronulla which very much authentic and traditional Japanese food. The selection of dishes we ordered and took of the sushi train were absolutely scrumptious with the mushrooms being a standout. The little dishes off the train had a twist in the flavours that made them a little more unique and tasty than the average sushi train. Sadly we did walk in and get presented a sitting position that had a dead fly on the table and the toilets are so unfortunately positioned through the kitchen which is just off putting. I get the fly as it is Australia and the good news was that it was dead however to get 5 stars you need to have a constantly clean and functional kitchen and dining room. With that said give it a go and I am sure you will not be disappointed.

Requested the seating at the back they were very accomodating even though they don't have that section open on a weeknight specially a Monday night. They turned the lights of and provided the candles and sparklers for our cake. Ate like animals and fairly priced. All food was delicious. Best place to it !

Revisited this restaurant after a movie. Unlike some restaurants, they were happy to keep their kitchen open after 9.30pm and other patrons came after us. Their Bibimbap is fantastic. Took doggy bag home. Good to find a main course priced under $20. Each time I have been here I have been impressed with fresh ingredients, service and range of dishes. Location nice as it overlooks a park and is removed from noisier Cronulla.
