We were warmly greeted by staff when we walked in. Our server very knowledgeable and answered the few questions we had. I got the Naruto roll and the lobster special roll they had on special tonight. My husband got the New York strip steak stone. The presentation of our food was phenomenal. The New York strip steak stone was a serving of steak, a side, and a very hot stone for you to cook the steak on. Overall, we definitely will be back. The food was delicious, the presentation was wonderful, and the staff was fantastic.

Weâre new to town and have tried a LOT of restaurants since weâve been here, including numerous sushi and Thai places. Sky is definitely at the top of both of those categories. Their food presentation is among the most artistic weâve seen anywhere and weâve never been disappointed in a single item. Having so many new (to us) restaurants in the area to choose from, weâve only been back to three, and weâve returned to Sky four times now...and counting.

Continuing my search for outstanding sushi in the Dayton area, my wife and I did a lunch date at this location. No regrets! Tho' I found the tab (over $50 after tip) a sight more than I'm used to paying. When you arrive at this little place, you find a small dining room in a Pompeiian red-and-black color scheme, tables and booths crowded to maximum capacity. There were not too many diners here on our Thursday noon visit, but I suspect at their busier times your proximity to others would be pretty Japanese.Service was smooth and attentive. Our lunches started with a good miso soup, and then we settled into our main courses. My wife had a tempura box, five pieces of nigiri, four bites of California roll (she loves those), several pieces of mixed tempura. She enjoyed it thoroughly. I got another lunch special, a sushi and specialty roll combo, which included three nigiri--the salmon and tuna were supremely fresh. My specialty roll was their caterpillar, containing eel and crab in perfect harmony, wrapped in thin cucumber, topped with avocado and masko over a savory eel sauce--fabulous! It's my approach to devour a piece of sushi, then cleanse the palate with a sliver of pickled ginger (theirs is extremely spicy!), then a sip of warm sake (they have a very good list), and a swig of tea--it went quite well. This locaton also presents Korean dishes if you have a party member who dislikes Japanese. It's not the transcendent sushi place I'm hoping to find--but they are exellent.
