We had several negiri rolls, gyoza and salmon skin rolls. All were very fresh and generous with the good stuff. Atmosphere low key and pleasant with more privacy than is usual in these places.Price was consistent with what we had paid at other sushi restaurants. We have had several disappointing visits to our long time favorite, Ninja Sushi, and were hoping to find a new local place. Take Maru is it. We will be back.

It's a bit pricey but the rolls are bigger than most places and it is super fresh. Tom is a great sushi chef and everyone is super friendly.

FRESH is the operative word necessary for sushi. The fish here is always always fresh and beautifully presented. Give control over to the chef and be delightfully surprised with what you are gifted. We love to watch and experience the welcoming grace of the owner as she greets every newcomer as an honored guest. And all right here in lil 'ol Auburn. You'll love it.
