Albany is the county seat of Linn County, and the 11th largest city in the State of Oregon. I like Momiji for its hours, as it stays open from morning until evening close instead of shutting down for three hours in the afternoon. Their sushi isn't bad, especially on Mondays when they have specials on rolls. Service is somewhat spotty and slowish and there seems to be staff turnover which, while not uncommon in food service, causes the trainee staff to know little or nothing about the menu and I'm not sure what motivates them. Location is meh, on the edge of a strip mall parking lot. Good free parking most days and times.

Shared the maguro Sashimi plate as an appetizer and the maguro (tuna) was just the right consistency and fresh. Husband had some exotic rolls and was happy. The tempura was perfect - fluffy with just enough coating.Daughter was happy with her tempura udon.The server was a little harried, although efficient. Service would be better if there was a bus boy or another waiter.Very unusual that a restaurant does both cooked food and sushi well but Ginza pulls it off. I didn't expect good Japanese food in a non descript strip mall in Albany!And prices were very fair - excellent value. I would definitely come back here again.

This restaurant was clean and offered a wide variety of food items. Sushi was actually pretty good. They had a lot of meat dishes including crab, clams, mussels, and many chicken choices. I have to say save room for hard hand scooped ice cream in 5 flavors because that was my particular favorite item. I thought the food was served hot and the staff was very accommodating and helpful contrary to another review I saw. The senior discount was nice.
