If youâre a fully signed up carnivore like me youâll love this restaurant. They cook the steak in the main dining area over an open apple wood fire and then prepare the dish in front of you, great theatre .The Chateaubriand is delish, so smooth, juicy and flavoursome. The Porterhouse is also a great choice.Starters are also good. Itâs not a huge menu but just enough.All very reasonably priced for what you get.Itâs situated inside the Elephant Hotel in Pangbourne, not a large place so would definitely advise to book.Marius and the front of house staff looked after us very well.I would highly recommend giving it a try

The Corn Stores is a stunning Grade II listed building in central Reading. Set across three floors, we have lovingly restored this historic landmark to become a home from home, featuring a cocktail bar, steak restaurant and Membersâ lounge.

I was taken here for my birthday and we had an excellent meal! The service was impeccable and I cannot find fault with anything! All the food we had was delicious - the veg board which we shared for a starter was AMAZING - esp the courgette fritters! I then had the lamb chop, possible the best lamb I've ever had?! My bf had the ribeye which he said was also excellent. We were rather full by this point, however I was very pleasantly surprised when a birthday brownie with a candle in was brought out which we then shared - incredible brownie! All in all, a fantastic meal, and I will be coming back soon!
