Wow! Great food at a reasonable Price! Service was excellent. This is a top notch unpretentious steak house. Full and varied menu. Beside steaks cooked perfectly our party had the Greek chicken, pork chops, and hamburgers. All dinners came with soup salad, potatoes hot Bread and crakers. We chose the French onion soup. Delicious! Timing all courses was exceptional. My grandson was with us and they got his food out immediately. Very enjoyable dinner at a great price.Thank you Edye for your review. We look forward to serving you again.

This is typical restaurant with booths and tables also has cocktail menu and loads of entrees from breakfast to cabbage and corned beef! Daily Specials Very friendly waitstaff and good food

My wife and I discovered Longhorn Steakhouse a few years ago while vacationing in Sarasota, Florida. Founded in 1981, Longhorn features a Western/Texas theme that offers unique lunch combinations and delicious dinner options including soups, salads, steaks, sandwiches and burgers. Its headquarters are in Orlando but its first restaurant opened in Atlanta. There are nearly 500 locations, primarily in the eastern United States. But Illinois has 13 locations at last count. We have been to Sarasota, Tampa, Valdosta, Oak Lawn, Norridge, Bolingbrook, Des Plaines, Skokie, Schaumburg, Peoria, Champaign, Merrillville and most recently the location at 7115 Cermak Road in Berwyn, a Chicago suburb. Honestly, we've never had a disappointing experience. Longhorn always seems to have something to satisfy, from the roasted tomato basil soup to the shrimp and lobster chowder to grilled salmon salad to the Longhorn Caesar salad to the Wild West shrimp to the 12-ounce ribeye to the 12-ounce New York strip to Flo's 6, 8 and 10-ounce filet with baked potato and creamy spinach to Longhorn salmon to Napa grilled chicken to Redrock grilled shrimp to baby back ribs to hand-breaded chicken tenders. But perhaps the most unique item of all, one of my all-time favorites, is the Big Sky burger, shaved American Kobe steak with Gruyere cheese, crispy onion straws, arugula and steakhouse sauce served with parmesan truffle fries. Dessert? It's hard to pass up key lime pie or molten lava cake or strawberry and cream shortcake. But we can't resist the Chocolate Stampede (six types of chocolate in peaks and layers with vanilla bean ice cream) or the Caramel Apple Gold Rush (fresh baked apple crust stuffed with Fiji apples and topped with vanilla, caramel and raspberry ice cream). Take your time. Enjoy your dessert while sitting at the bar and watching the Cubs game on television.
