My friends and I visited on a recommendation and we were blown away!!! What a fantastic little restaurant. I cannot understand why it was so quiet on a Saturday night, but very pleased that we managed to get a table. I will go back to Barcelona just to go back here again.We walked in and drinks were mixed at our table by the owner/chef, menus placed on the table and then picked up and taken away again with the agreement that whatever he brought we would be happy with - we had 1 vegetarian in the party. The starters just kept coming and everything was utterly delicious - from grilled cheese to various sausages to stuffed ravioli and many other wondrous delights. When we knew we would never fit in the main course if we had any more, we asked him to stop. He then brought THEEEE most amazing hunks of steak, which were incredible. Followed by a different cut of steak, which was also delicious. Again, if we hadn't said how full we were, heaven knows what would have arrived! Drinks flowed.....and the way he pours them is a lesson in itself, along with the superior type of gin and rum he was serving up. He then brought a plate of very small puddings for us to share - delicious. We left with all of us feeling that they really do not charge enough for such wonderful food. I cannot recommend Gauchitos Grill enough. If it were located more centrally, there would not be any possibility of getting a table.

We were looking for a fine dining, but were disappointed.The jamon was lower quality, not well cut neither. The beef was also below expectations.The glass of wine is approx. 80ml.The service is ok.Will not go again.Dear EmilLazarov, First of all, I would like to thank you for the time you have spent sharing your experience with us all. The food was great. The service was extraordinary. Everything felt as fine dining, except it was only modestly priced and a comfortable, relaxed feel. We really enjoyed dinner here. My wife and two daughters travel a lot more and we have come to rely upon tripadvisor so I am making it a point to review places that are worth eating to help others with recommendations and also to ensure these great places are recognized for their excellence.
