Despite its brief presence under the new management, "Gialova Grill House" has gained fanatics who swear by its exquisite flavours. "Gialova Grill House" ... just a few metres away from the beach, has made an excellent impression not only in Gialova but a
Very delicious talgani salad and cheese pie. Chicken is always very tasty but prefer tsatziku instead of mayonnaise for sauce. Pork Gyros not so good like in the cafe with magician near gialova souvenir shop)

Hello, my name is Grigoris I have this tavern for 25 years. The environment is very friendly for families and teens too. We have greek traditional foods, fresh fishes and all our meat dishes are cooked on coal. We combine our foods with an amazing sunset.
This was located on the edge of the village close to the sea with fantastic evening sunsets. We highly recommend this taverna and this was our favourite choice for our evening meal. The staff were always very helpful, attentive & friendly. The menu which is mostly traditional Greek is quite varied and sometimes dishes were not available on a particular day (we think that's a good sign of freshly prepared food). Over the week we enjoyed large Greek salad (6 Euros), Horta (wild greens) (3 Euros), Veal in the Oven (6 Euros), nicely cooked Kalamari with a light batter, good Moussaka (6.50 Euros) & the biggest Pork chop we have had with excellent flavour (8.50 Euros). All servings were very generous and served nice and hot and excellent value. Half a kilo of house white wine was 4.00 Euros. Each of our meals with a kilo of wine, starter & two mains came to less than 30 Euros.

Traditional tavern serving delicious food based on local products in a beautiful setting 5km outside Pylos. You can taste petoules (crepes with white grated cheese), kayanas (scrambled eggs with tomato, local sausage and pork), kogkes (local pasta), roast
Make the trip to Taverna Argyris - it is so worth it as it is the most authentic and delicious Greek food in the whole area. Everything we ordered was tasty and well-prepared - just like a home cooked meal. The prices are very reasonable and they offer generous portions. It is off the beaten path, so you will experience a true local Greek village atmosphere. The owners/staff are very friendly, the service is excellent and everyone is fluent in English. It will for sure be the first restaurant we visit on our next trip.
