I got take out since Iâm visiting from out of town. My order was ready on time and it was correct except for there was no sour cream in the bag for my potato, no big deal. The steak was wonderful; it was cooked perfect and was delicious.

The food was ok, nothing to really write home about. Only wish we had taken pictures of the ribs. To call them small would be a miscarriage of justice. They looked more like something Krystalâs would serve if Krystalâs sold ribs. A full rack of ribs did not even fill a regular size plate, not even close. Three stars was being generous, but to be fare; we did receive excellent service.

We went to Texas Roadhouse in Douglasville for dinner and first ordered appetizers and drink...waitress was attentive during this process and after the appetizers arrived she checked on us a couple of times more. When our order was placed she stated she would be bringing bread back and we never saw her again until she brought our food which she put down on the table then disappeared for approximately 30 minutes. During this time we discovered our sweet potatoes were undercooked and had the consistency of a tennis ball, there was no bread and no drink refill and my husband's ribs tasted "peculiar" and my smothered chicken was cool and perhaps had been frozen to death rather than smothered! Another waitress was flagged since ours had become Houdini and all she did was offer us more undercooked potatoes which we did not want or another vegetable to eat with our less than stellar entre. Still no drinks. Finally our waitress puts in an appearance and she was asked for a refil on the diet soda and she says she will be right back...she then goes ELSEWHERE and we see her cross the room several times but still no drink. Much later she comes back and states "did I bring you your drink?" I told her "no" and she proceeds to say "I MUST have put it down somewhere, I know I poured it" She was then informed she left out table to get my drink and stopped to talk to the people behind us and brought them drinks but never brought ours! Waitress ROBIN then was told we had no bread she was supposed to have brought over 45 minutes ago , the potatoes were not cooked , and STILL no diet soda...All she said was "SORRY" and offered bread, soda and another baked potato! We asked for our check and stated we wanted our food cooked and all together we did not want a potato with bread and a drink after we had finished eating. As we were leaving I qasked at the desk who the manager was and a lady spoke up stating she was and did we have a problem...she was told all of the issues and SHE asked if we wanted bread, potatoes and drink to take with us! REALLY PEOPLE...do you seriously think it is acceptable to carry out most of what was supposed to have been your dinner home in a paper sack to eat after your server screwed up. No tip was left. And the proper way to have handled the issues would have been to adjust the bill or provide a gift certificate for another chance...most likely which would never have been used because we have decided we never want to go there again so they would not have been out anything but would have been a better stab at customer service.
