Weâve been a fans of Adrian Richardson from way back. So itâs only logical that we were keen to taste his food for long time. The only reason being that La Luna is a rather pricey restaurant. However, our wish came true when recently we visited with family for a special occasion. All we can say is that it turned out to be a great experience and surpassed all expectations. Fantastic food and service. My reaction when I faced my 330g medium/rare Porterhouse was, OMG, Iâll never be able to eat all that...surprise, surprise, once I took a bite, just couldnât stop...it was to die for! And so it goes for everyone around the table. And then, it was dessert time... the taster plate was definitely a blast with other family members. My Affogato topped with a gorgeous French pear liqueur was just Devine. Expensive? Yes! But whoâs complaining? Many thanks Adrian and staff for an unforgettable night. Relaxed but special service and atmosphere. The food was faultless, even the cauliflower gratin- with smoky cheese and jalapenos. The scallop entree was perfectly cooked. Great steak, chips with fabulous sauces to follow. Wine was perfect. We expected the focus to be on the steak but everything else was as good.Hi Tiina,Thanks for your feedback and review. We have waited ages to return and now know why. Beautiful ambiance, friendly, warm and professional French staff. Delicious food and as you would expect a great wine list. This really like being back in Paris for us. We shared the charcuterie platter (note the Chicken Liver pate was sublime). I went for the lamb special while the man did the beef. We unashamedly shared the pear tarte tatin and a lovely dessert wine. Could not have been happier
