Reviews on Steakhouse food in Cedar City, Utah, United States. Just a couple of hours north of Las Vegas lies an oasis called Cedar City. Home to Southern Utah University, and close to a number of scenic national parks, this charming and compact city offers visitors a great home base for exploring the area. Golf, skiing, biking and other outdoor recreational activities abound. In the summer, mountain bikers flock to the Brian Head Peak Activity Center, for challenging runs and spectacular scenery. Also called the "Festival City," Cedar City plays host to a number of prestigious film, theater and art festivals throughout the year (the summer Shakespearean Festival is one of the more well-known fetes), making anytime a great time to visit.

A steak and seafood house located 5 miles east of Cedar City on Highway 14. We have a rustic cabin atmospher in a beautiful canyon setting
We visited our favorite restaurant in the Cedar City, Milt's Stage Stop, again on a recent trip to Cedar Breaks National Monument. We visit Cedar City regularly, primarily for the Utah Shakespeare Festival. We have tried most of the many good restaurants in Cedar City and this is the best, in our opinion. Despite some of the recent reviews posted here, I must say that we have never received either "average" food or poor service at this restaurant. We had four in our party and ordered three steaks and one ribeye. All were, in a word, outstanding. Salads are "build your own" and are included with the price of the main course. Our server was Emily E., and she was outstanding as well: prompt, good-humored, and efficient.

Steakhouse serving a variety of dishes from steak, seafood and pasta to delicate desserts with all the in betweens.Located in an historical train depot. Selections of wine and beer available
We went to lunch and then dinner at Depot Grill. Both were great! My friend had the wedge salad which was huge and looked delicious. I had the spinach salad. The dressing was to die for! Great salad! For dinner, I had the chicken piccata which was delicious. Our meals came with a family style salad. The house dressing is delicious! The bread was really good too! Again, I recommend Depot Grill. Thanks so much for your kind words. Hope to see you again soon!
