First of all if you go, make sure you get the blooming onion as an appetizer. Splurge on the calories and share one with the family. We always enjoy are steaks, salad and loaded bake potato. Some of the Outback's put coarse salt on the outside of the potato, I find it a bit salty so I ask for my potato to not have salt on it. The Cesar salad is good and my husband likes the Blue cheese dressing on his garden salad. The staff has always been very friendly, we have never come across a rude waiter/waitress. It does get busy on the weekend so we try to go before 5 or by 5. We don't like to wait. Make sure you try it.

Atmosphere is typical for a food chain however, the steaks are phenomenal. Both my husband and I ordered the Flo Filet, 6 ounce. It was serviced as requested, medium, and was seasoned perfectly. So very tasty and tender, definitely no steak sauce required! Our beginner salads were the strawberry and wedge choices. Very fresh and crisp field greens and romaine with delicious dressings. Entrees come with a warm wheat loaf of bread, yum! As sides to our filets, we both opted for the broccoli and it was fresh, not frozen. Large florets with a mild butter sauce. Excellent meal overall. Our waiter was a little quirky and some things that came out of his mouth were unbelievable. Asked what the house dressing was and, I quote, âitâs disgusting, a honey mustardâ. WOW, just WOW. Would return just for the steaks!

Visited Mansard Inn to celebrate my wife's birthday. For her, she ordered the onion soup and stuffed lobster tail. For me it was also the soup but a lighter fare of cold cut sampler salad. Bar none, the onion soup with its cheesy goodness was outstanding! We do not think that there is any where else that can serve this soup as well as the Mansard! The lobster dinner came with salad plate, baked potato and squash. All were very well prepared! Along with the meal, the dinner rolls were excellent. Very few restaurants serve yeast bread rolls. These were just great to have. For me, I had the salad plate that came with cold cuts and a grilled marinated chicken breast. Wow, that was good! Topped with bleu cheese dressing and crumbled bleu cheese, the meal was very satisfying! Overall, Mansard Inn continues their tradition of serving excellent prepared food!
