Aside from having good Mexican food Tampico has the best hamburgers that you'll ever sink your teeth into whether that's a plain hamburger,Anaheim pepper or "ghost" spicy burger. They have one for every taste and I enjoy the hamburger steak plate, with a dessert of the Changas ymmmm!

Carambas is somewhat out of the way being located in an industrial area. Beef fajitas tasted like watery soy sauce and were dripping with liquid. No grilling was evident. Refried beans were runny and rice had little flavor. Chips were the best part of the meal being crisp and tastey. Chili relleno was very hot, almost too hot and spicey to eat. Service was prompt and attentive. This meal was not worth the drive across town.

My husband and I are originally from Venezuela so we decided to try it out. I started with the tequenos and then I had the patacon sandwich! Everything was delicious! My husband had the pabellon and said it was very good! We had the papelon con limon to drink..very refreshing! We really enjoyed the food and would highly recommend it!
