Reviews on Spanish food in Holland, Michigan, United States. Founded by Dutch Calvinists in 1847, the city of Holland, Michigan, is an outpost of Dutch culture and tradition in the midst of the American Midwest, home to dikes, canals and even an authentic Dutch windmill. Proud of its heritage, the city purchased 100,000 tulip bulbs from the Netherlands back in 1927, and these colorful flowers still fill the city's gardens and parks with color annually, just in time for the famous Tulip Time Festival, attended by over half a million people every year.

This was our first time here and found the service good and the prices low. The food was authentic Mexican but from a cheap Mexican restaurant. Quality was lacking. I'll try a different place next time.

Friendly, competent staff, and grilled / roasted pineapple are the highlights. âColdâ buffet offered few options. Foods on the buffet that should have been warm were cold. Meats are either undercooked or overcooked. Not all advertised cuts of meats, particularly the more expensive ones, are available at all times, with staff explaining it by saying there was a recent menu change. However when questioned, they said they were starting to cook the meat that had just arrived from their supplier. Hmmmm ...Decor seems to be left over from a previous restaurant. All in all, not worth the money, or the trip.

Iâm never disappointed with the food or service here. Iâve enjoyed everything Iâve tried and some of my favorites are the tortas and their chicken meal. This is not so much like the chains, but if you want authentic Mexican food, you wonât be disappointed
