If you're looking for a nice, relatively quiet place to have a decent meal, look no further. It's a bit out of the way from the city, but in my opinion definitely worth making the detour to the old center of Nieuwerkerk a/d IJssel. The menu consists of tapas, with such classics as patatas bravas and albondigas, but also own creations. The mushrooms filled with cheese are my favorite item from the menu; give them a try! They also serve some nice wines, both Spanish and from other countries. Tuesdays thru Thursdays, you can make use of an "all you can eat" arrangement; haven't tried that, but either way the restaurant is budget friendly.Well worth a visit, according to this frequent visitor!

Restaurant with big terrace and spectaculair view on the rivers. Open 7 days a week from 09:30 till 23:00 Breakfast Lunch Brunch High tea Dinner Seafood Grill Drinks Party Private room Free parking and accessible by waterbus.
Lovely place, great view. Need some improvement on the food.We had fish & chips, the fish batter was soo thick that it almost look like oliebollen. Not crispy, too thick too soggy. Calamari as well. However I saw alot of people having club sandwiches and salad and portion looks really generous and yummy too. Would go back again. Hope they can improve on the batter.

i have eaten here whenever business brings me to Rotterdam (3-4 times a year for the last 4 years) and the quality, service and value is consistently good. Good tapas, some really nice hams and a nice selection of wines, beers and a great gin and tonic.I will return.
