This place is always busy in the evening so I had a chance to go for lunch. Friendly wait staff and food was delicious.

No spice at all, why? No hot salsa no flavor.Requsted fried green onions cebollaâ and recieved sauted regular onions. Steak was over chewy with in steak tacos. Request hot salsa and waiter pointed to table hot commercial bottled hot sauce in table. Authentic mexican reataurant, not at all. Chips for salsa tasted lije it was from a bag and not fresh. Very disappointed will not be back. Need major revamping.

We were very short on time when we came to Lucha and received a very quick and helpful service. Our attendant made excellent recommendations that saved us money and allowed us to try 3 different tacos that were fantastic. I especially loved the fish (wahoo) tacos. Tortilla shells were perfectly grilled and the sauce was out of this world. Sangria was fabulous too. Not sure if and when we would be back in Rockford but I would always make a detour to eat here. Thank you!
