I have been on the search for a true Ramen house that can accommodate vegetarians. Itâs not all that easy. Well, I found the holy grail in Kitakata Ramen. In addition to all of the traditional Ramen offerings, they very clearly make it well known and marked that they offer a vegetarian Ramen. Thee broth was off the charts tasty on its own. The veggies and noodles all fresh. Sip after sip, slurp after slurp, bite after bite it was delicious. They are so aware and accommodating that when I asked for a marinated egg as an accompaniment, they told it is it seasoned with the traditional pork broth. Thank you!!! Any time I am in the area I will make my way there.

In area on business trip. Saw Panera from the street and thought, great, this will be easy. I knew what I wanted, ordered and took it to go. When I got to my hotel I realized I only got one of my pick 2 items but was charged for both. I've written to Panera via the website. We'll see what their service recovery looks like.

A couple of times when I have visited my son and his family and we come back to the house after a long day of exploring the Chicago area, he has called up the House of Pho and ordered Pad Thai and Pho to go. The House of Pho is near his home and within just a few minutes he returns with generous servings of pad Thai and containers with everything you need to create a delicious bowl of Pho. Very convenient and reasonably priced.
