Reviews on Soups food in Lynn, Massachusetts, United States. Lynn is the 9th largest municipality in Massachusetts and the largest city in Essex County. Situated on the Atlantic Ocean, approximately 10 miles (16 km) north of downtown Boston, Lynn is part of Greater Boston's urban inner core. An early colonial settlement and industrial center, Lynn was long colloquially referred to as the "City of Sin," owing to its historical reputation for crime and vice. Today, however, the city is known for its contemporary public art, large international population, historic architecture, downtown cultural district, loft-style apartments, and public parks and open spaces, which include the oceanfront Lynn Shore Reservation; the 2,200-acre, Frederick Law Olmsted-designed Lynn Woods Reservation; and the High Rock Tower Reservation. The city also is home to the southernmost portion of the Essex Coastal Scenic Byway, Lynn Heritage State Park, and the National Register-listed Diamond Historic District.

I either order Ga Xao Cury (Curry Chicken) or I order Ga Xao Hung (Ginger Chicken) and either order comes with a wonderful ceramic bowl of white rice and a fresh pot of Jasmine tea!You would think the chicken curry would have a yellow sauce but it has an orangey sauce. It is awesome!! I have been to Vietnam twice and this is the most delicious chicken curry sauce I have ever had. It has a slight coconut cream base and just enough spice. It's my favorite.Tonight I have had my 2nd favorite. The ginger chicken with sautéed onions; slices of fresh ginger through it; fresh carrots and topped with peanut pieces. I crave the food here often. I love open wide open space and it's spotless! There is on street parking. If you take a right after the restaurant into an alley/driveway you will find a parking lot. This is a hot-spot for lunch and dinner in Lynn and really affordable! It is authentic Vietnamese food and the owner and staff are from Vietnam and all so warm and friendly! Open 7 days a week 10am-9am. What a treasure!

The seafood was excellent and the service was just as good. The ladies who were tending bar were kind and personable. Best food in Salem.
I've been going here for years. Huge subs, cheap prices, excellent quality. I usually get the cold subs, ham and cheese, american, or Italian. So delicious the bread is always fresh, quality cold cuts and the toppings are always good. I love they shredded lettuce they use. This is a small place, I almost always get takeout, or order a 20-footer for parties. They do have a few tables so you can sit and eat if you choose. I go at least monthly if not more.
