The location is great and the service was friendly, but the food seemed only okay to me. Everything was clean and professionally prepared, but the cold cuts did not strike me as the highest quality meat. I'd put it on the same level as a fast-food deli.

We visited The Daily Bread for the first time over the weekend around noon on Saturday. It was busy and there was a line, but ordering moved along at a good pace. This place is wonderful and the smell of that baked bread, cookies, and everything else is great! I ordered the chicken salad sandwich and Cesar salad, and had a St. Patrickâs day iced clover cookie. Good stuff! Weâll be back again next time Iâm in town.Thanks for stopping by over the weekend, Joe! Very good! Clean. Fast service. Loved the egg white and spinach breakfast sandwich. Tasty! Much better than the one in downtown saint louis.
