Funny thing is I always thought this was a Chinese restaurant lolWhen I finally visited I was surprised at the unique options on their menu. Everything was served with an interesting Sauce, Slaw or Pickled Veggie. I had the Spicy Lentil Soup which was quite spicy. And the V-Power box in a small box size with Falafels which was still two meals for me. It was all tasty and fresh. There are 6 booths for 4 and 3 tables for 4. Staff were friendly and helpful with the menu. Restaurant looked clean, I did not use the washroom. Will return.

Stopped in for lunch. As I enjoy spicy dishes, ordered a Spicy chicken ramen dish. Not truly spicy, nice broth nestled on ramen noodles.Five slivers of chicken served in this dish. All made fresh before your eyes. Not somewhere I would come back to as many Chinese restaurants were nearby serving better portions of soup and cheaper.

Pho Saigon gave me high hopes due to its sparkling reviews. I love a good bowl of Vietnamese soup, and have visited pho restaurants across Ontario (mainly in the Toronto area) at least 100 times.General: Pho Saigon strikes me as the proverbial unassuming "mom & pop" type of restaurant, with a no-frills interior and typical pho shop layout. It's a good start. No napkins at the tables - only boxes of facial tissues. I haven't seen that one before. The service is fast, with an elderly man bringing dishes out of the kitchen to the tables.Food: I ordered the Shredded Pork Roll and Soup with Dumplings and Sliced Pork. The Pork Roll was a good large portion, though not strong in flavour. I thought the sauce was also lacking in flavour. Nothing about these dishes was 'bad', however they appeared to be geared toward a palate that can't handle the spicy foods. The Soup with Dumplings was a fair size relative to the price. Not big, not small. The broth had a lot of flavour, and was quite good. The dumplings were large in size and quantity, but they were also a disappointment in taste. I did not detect much seasoning at all in the dumplings. The fillings were good both in texture and quantity, but the taste just wasn't there. The sliced pork in the soup was OK, but nothing special. Perhaps this product is again made for a palate that can't take real spice. In conclusion, if you can't take spicy food, this might be a good stop for you. But I find the food is not nearly as tasty as other Toronto-area staples. I'll go elsewhere for my noodle fix.
