Stopped in late morning on a road trip with one year old- my husband, daughter and I ate great food for less than what it would have cost for ok food at a chain. It was a small place, but the people were very nice and great food/ price. Wish it was closer to home

We are always looking for new places to try; especially Vietnamese cuisine which is sorely lacking near our home in Connecticut. When we visit our son in Providence, RI, we are very luck to have a wide variety of restaurants and cuisines to choose from. We found Pho Horn in the internet and once again, the Trip Advisor community was spot on with their reviews, recommendations and pictures. We had a coupon for an appetizer and ordered two different spring rolls; one fried with a delicious dipping sauce and a spring roll with shrimp, lettuce, etc.,, wrapped in rice paper with a peanut dipping sauce, both very good and nicely plated. My wife and I have tried Pho around the world and always marvel at the broth variations from different chefs. The chefs at Pho Horn did not disappoint; their broths were very rich, deep with several layers of flavor and delicious. The plate with the sprouts, basil, and peppers were fresh and abundant! Our son had the salmon in the clay pot which was delicious, nicely presented, and again, the flavors were quite rich and tasty and did not overshadow the salmon which was cooked perfectly. Pho Horn is tucked away in a strip mall, but obviously a locals favorite. We were promptly seated and the flow of people throughout the time we were there was quite steady. The servers were quite attentive and we did not feel rushed. With the many, many items on the menu that beg to be tried, we will be back. Don't miss Pho Horn if you are in the neighborhood; you will not be disappointed!

The staff were so accommodating and gave great recommendations and tips on what to order to my young daughter who had her first oysters and clams. They made us feel very welcome.
