We have just visited The Sea Tree for our first time (we have been missing out for years) The restaurant is bright, clean and the atmosphere relaxed and friendly. Hus was great and greeted us with a smile and showed us to our table. He was just a delight all evening and the service was quick and efficient. The food was AMAZING. Tempura Prawns and Calamari for starters. The batter was crispy and the prawns/calamari cooked to perfection. We all ordered Haddock, Chips and Mushy Peas. All was tasty and again cooked to perfection. The menu and specials board varied and I am definitely going back for Cromer Crab Thermodor, Chips, Coleslaw and Salad. We loved everything about our evening and I would happily recommend you go for a meal. Food incredible, Atmosphere relaxed and friendly, Staff friendly and attentive. We have booked our second visit already. Go on book now you won't be sorry (I would advise booking a table as the restaurant gets very busy) Thank you Hus and The Sea Tree we loved our visit.

From the outside the fish & chip didnât look the most appealing but decided to give it a try from the good reviews here on trip advisor and we were certainly not disappointed.Upon entering all looked clean and bright. We sat inside were there is a few tables but no others in use, this is certainly predominantly a take way but a busy one at that.We ordered large cod and chips x2 and large haddock and chips both £7.50 each. There was a bit of a wait but thatâs a good thing and it was certainly all freshly cooked and worth the wait. The fish was fantastic quiet a thick batter but very crispy and chips were good, portion size was certainly LARGE and great value. Child friendly too .... lolly pops provided, nice touch !We live by the seaside, but all said it has beaten what we have had on the last few occasions locally and certainly cheaper.Well done and see you againThanksNathan

The Oak is a family and Dog friendly village pub serving artisan pizzas and pub classics. We show live sport on both Sky Sports and BT Sports. Look out for our live music nights showcasing local talent!
Visited at lunch time on a bank holiday, pub was not very busy. Went up to order food but the lady behind the bar seemed not very clued up on the menu and did not realise that there was a sandwich menu too. I ordered our food and drinks and was told the credit card machine was down and she would come over with our drinks and the credit card machine. She then turned up with the machine but no drinks so I paid. The drinks then took an age to appear and I had to go and chase. The food took even longer and yet again had to be chased. The chicken and bacon baguettes were poor filled with mayo and little chicken or bacon. Weirdly served with coleslaw so even more mayo. The fries they were served with were fine . The chicken strips were poor too but the sweet potato fries were nice. No complaint about the potato with beans. Since returning home I have read some of the managers response to negative reviews and they are nothing short of shocking. I expect mine will be similarly dismissed which says it all. We will not be returning, there are better places to eat in the village.Thank you for your review. I would like to clarify for other TripAdvisorâs the facts of your visit. We were in fact very busy bank holiday Monday, so much so that we had severally people waiting for tables throughout the day. The chicken strips are a childrenâs meal priced at £5 so the portion size is clearly aimed at children. Our baguettes are cooked fresh daily and filled up! You chased your meal after 11 minutes. Your food arrived after 14minutes from the time it was ordered. How this constitutes as slow service is beyond me.I reply to every review we receive, over 170 reviews. We have been awarded a trip advisor certificate of excellence which are not handed out easily. I will always reply honestly and candidly. Unfortunately sometimes people feel the need to sit at a keyboard and type nonsense about our business and staff and I will always protect both of those things rigorously and with the utmost honesty. The baguettes you seem to be so offfended by cost £6 and are served with fries and coleslaw (stated on the menu) I believe you would be hard pushed to find them priced more reasonably elsewhere. The fact that you have taken time to review a baguette on multiple review sites suggests yoour a tough man to please. One would sincerely hope you do not return as I feel you would be disappointed even if I served you a core de boeuf for £3 and had it at your table in 4 minutes.Best regardsCraig
