After coming to Current a year ago (while previously visiting Salt Lake City), we came back for lunch. We enjoyed a couple of items on their menu; their grilled octopus is outstanding! We did have a problem with our food and it needed to go back, as there was something that shouldnât have been in the food, in one of our entrées and they immediately addressed the issue. It was nice that they took this item off the bill, but in hindsight, it 'bugged' me so much, that paying for any of the meal should have been out of the question (they shouldâve compâd the entire meal). This caused me to go back and look at my previous review, from last year and notice that I didnât find the ceviche very flavorful on that visit and they didnât handle the criticism as well as would have been expected⦠This coupled with me going twice and having an issue (although the first wasnât nearly as bad as the second) and feeling they didnât really handle it to exceed expectations, suggests I probably wonât be going back. Iâm sad to say this, as I feel the menu is amazing and thereâs so much great opportunity here.

Sawadee invites you to her beautiful, new restaurant in downtown Salt Lake City for authentic Thai cuisine.
This is a nice hidden jewel. Start with the soup. The tom yum soup is great. I recommend the prawns for the soup. I ordered the pad Thai it was spiced properly and well presented. I enjoyed a refreshing Thai iced tea! Wonderful!! Finished the meal with sticky rice and mango. Great meal with a decent price. Great service. Iâll be back!!

Had a very good wild Alaskan Salmon dinner here. Everything was so fresh and cooked like we liked. Salmon was served plank style. We definitely would go back. Our waiter was very good even tho they were busy.
