We wanted steak and read the reviews and decided to come. The outside does not portray what is waiting inside! The bar area is cozy and very nice. For dinner we both had the filet special that was incredible! Cooked perfectly and melted in your mouth. The salad bar was the best I have seen in years! So much selection and everything appeared fresh. It included two soups and bread. I could have made a meal out of that! Highly recommend! Thank you for your review! We strive to have the best salad bar in town!

My husband and I chose Melazo Bistro for dinner while we were visiting in Woodstock. Our meal was excellent! Our server, John, was very attentive and pleasant to interact with. The menu theme is Caribbean. My meal was a pork shank which literally fell off the bone accompanied by plaintains and a yummy guava rum glaze. My husband enjoyed his Jerk Chicken accompanied by plaintains and rice. Both were beautifully presented and full of wonderful Caribbean seasonings.Due to the warm fall temperatures, we were able to enjoy our meal on their outdoor patio while listening to music from the islands. I can wholeheartedly recommend Melaza for your dinner experience.

We dined here on Super Bowl Sunday (night). It was snowing like crazy and most places were closed. Well, let me tell you, they missed out. This place was GREAT! Food, fun, and amazing service. The food was fantastic (linguine with white clam sauce--incredible), don't miss the Cesar salad and my hubby had chicken parm. Our kids loved the apple dumplings for dessert. But, whatever you do, make sure BETSY is your server. She will make your meal ideal. She is friendly, helpful, accommodating, and a true Vermonter. She makes it extra special and gives great recommendations and is so nice to kids. You can't go wrong stopping here. You won't be disappointed.
